Our professionally trained carers can provide this service, ensuring your loved one has everything they need to stay well, while keeping you informed of any important changes. These checks help support independent living for as long as possible.
Healthy and wellbeing checks will be carried out at assessment and care review, and if needs require, we will recommend a more regular frequency of these checks. And, as with all our care plans, this service is flexible, so it can be adjusted as needs evolve.
What is a wellbeing check?
When our Care Experts make their usual visit, they’ll bring along a wellbeing kit to check that your loved one’s vital signs are stable. We use a nationally recognised and NHS used scoring system, giving confidence in our findings to your local healthcare professionals.
If anything seems off or needs further attention, we’ll let you know right away and alert a healthcare professional if necessary.
What vital signs do we check?
Our fully trained Care Experts monitor several key health indicators, including:
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Temperature
- Breathing and oxygen levels
- Alertness
- General wellbeing (through a couple of key questions)
Regular health checks at home
We can perform these checks in your home. They’re usually included during assessments and care reviews, but needed more frequent checks can be carried out.
